Overview As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Beaumont Hospice, you will provide end‑of‑life care and support patients and families throughout the course of treatment. How You’ll Make a Difference You’ll give patients the chance to spend quality time with loved ones and offer compassionate care as part of an interdisciplinary team. What We Offer Competitive pay, medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k), company‑paid life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program. How You’ll Work Shifts: 10 am to 8 pm, Monday–Friday, with a 10‑hour shift schedule. One weekend a month rotation covering Macomb, Wayne and Oakland counties. Major Areas of Responsibility Plan of Care: Evaluate and adjust treatment plans as needed. Minimize Patient Risk: Update doctor orders and administer medication per physician orders. Continuity of Care: Coordinate multidisciplinary care and facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Family Educator/Advocate: Counsel patients and families, involve them in care planning, and listen actively. Policies: Complete clinical documentation in accordance with agency and Medicare guidelines. Operations: Oversee nursing aides and LPNs, attend in‑service training and mandatory meetings. Hard & Soft Skills Compassionate communication, positive attitude, patience, attention to detail, observant, and follows directions. Requirements Registered Nurse license in the state of employment. Minimum one year RN experience in an acute care setting (preferred). Hospice experience desired. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name. Able to meet all physical demands.
