Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.RequirementsSpecialty: RN - Obstetrics (Inpatient)Licensure: Degree or diploma from state approved nursing programCertifications:Mandatory: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) and Fetal Monitoring Certification (for Labor & Delivery position)Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Critical Care (TNCC), and Nurse Specialty certification (e.g., CNOR, Fetal monitoring)Experience: 3 years minimumSchedule: 11.5 hours for days, 12 hours for nightsTotal of 6-7 shifts/2-week period, including weekends, holidays, rotating day and night shifts, as scheduled based on the unit's needs for coverage. One hour lunch for day shift and thirty minutes for night shift.Job DutiesPlans, implements, evaluates, and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation, annual and ongoing education, and clinical practice.Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
