Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator (RN) – Hemodialysis Registered Nurse with a passion for patient care and leadership, you will coordinate nursing staff schedules, oversee patient care quality, and support continuous process improvement on the hemodialysis unit. Job Summary The Clinical Coordinator will act as lead for nursing personnel, assist the Clinical Manager in staff planning, and coordinate the delivery of high‑quality patient care. Lead and serve as a resource person for nursing staff; assist in planning and facilitating staff meetings and development. Collaborate with the manager to monitor schedules and ensure adequate nurse‑patient ratios. Facilitate shared decision‑making among staff and optimize unit throughput to improve Length of Stay. Coordinate in‑service programs to enhance staff competence. Assist manager with interview, selection, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff. Participate in development of policies, procedures, and standards for the department. Assist with department Process Improvement and Peer Review. Qualifications Associate’s Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan. One to two years of progressively responsible experience with evidence of increasing leadership abilities. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate, and facilitate processes. Minimum Level 6 of the Promoting Excellence Performance Criteria; internal candidates preferred. BLS required; ACLS preferred.
