Saratoga Medical is hiring a Registered Nurse in Fort Dodge, KS.
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse at Fort Dodge, KS. This is a great Per Diem opportunity. Please see qualifications below and submit your resume if you are interested in being considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the Infection Control Program (IPCP)
- Monitor infections, antibiotic stewardship, and vaccinations
- Perform surveillance and reporting (PCC, NHSN, KDHE, CDC)
- Develop and deliver infection control training
- Conduct annual and as-needed trainings
Qualifications & Licenses/Certifications:
- Must be educated and trained as a Registered Nurse
- Kansas RN license or temporary permit
- Specialized Infection Prevention & Control training
- Strong knowledge of nursing theory
- Ability to coordinate nursing services
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain records
- Effective communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
- Skilled nursing experience
- One-year supervisory experience
- Two years geriatric experience
- Six months infection prevention experience
