Responsibilities Assess health problems and needs of persons served, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care and advise persons served and staff on health maintenance and disease prevention. Provide case management. Review daily appointment needs, nursing calendar, and ensure coverage. Monitor staff activities, medication administration, meals, ADLs, and plan implementation. Review incident reports, appointment findings, and implement necessary changes. Approve medication and treatment orders, monitor health status, and address ongoing health issues. Attend IPPs, review MARs, and provide on-call services. Perform assessments such as fall risk, skin integrity, and choking. File healthcare documents, review medication storage, and manage medication orders. Conduct orientation and complete monthly nursing summaries. Develop and update medication support plans. Qualifications Degree from an accredited nursing school or current RN license in good standing. Valid driver’s license. At least 18 years old with one year of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred. Minimal travel required.
