As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you'll provide rapid assessments, deliver urgent and compassionate care, and partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding outcomes for a diverse patient population. Perform rapid, accurate patient assessments to prioritize care based on acuity and clinical urgency * Administer emergency medications, manage advanced IV lines, and execute life-saving interventions under pressure * Manage the delivery of care for your assigned ED beds in tight collaboration with attending physicians and emergency staff, anticipating discharge or transition needs from the moment of admission * Partner openly with physicians, tech staff, and specialists during multidisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless, timely care * Promote trust and rapport through bedside shift reports, patient education, and compassionate communication that honors the Patient's Bill of Rights * Champion evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives to constantly elevate our care environment Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nursing Program Active, unrestricted New York State (NYS) RN License * Excellent clinical judgment, rapid problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to remain calm and effective during medical emergencies * S. work authorization, as well as Canadian citizens eligible for TN Visa status under the USMCA.
