Job Title: Registered Nurse - GI Lab (Nursing)

Location: Rochester, NY 14617

Pay Rate: $54/hr

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: 10hr Day

Guarantee Hours: 40

Description / Comment:

• Local and Travel accepted for this position
• GI Endo RN 1 years of experience and Epic experience
• Shift: 5/8s or 4/10s varying shifts starting at 7am-9am with on call
• Needs to be trained fully in prep/recovery, and intra procedure
• Endoscopy RN needed to be trained fully in prep/recovery and intra procedure assisting physician in the room along with an LPN with variety of endoscopic procedures:
• EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy, APC, hemorrhage control, dilation, foreign body removal, decompression
• ERCP, stent placement, stent removal, biopsy, dilation
• ESU with FNA, specimen collection.
• (Need BLS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for GI procedures, including patient assessment and education.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses during procedures.
• Assist physicians with endoscopic and other GI procedures.
• Administer medications and sedation as prescribed.
