Responsibilities $7,500 Signing Bonus offered! This position will float across locations in Nassau and Suffolk County, NY as needed. When you join RadNet as a Registered Nurse , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes. Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration. Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable. Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access. Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line. Assist with hypersensitivity reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center. Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements. Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
