Position Title: Registered Nurse Hospice

Location: Flint, MI 48532

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: Open-ended (Locals NOT accepted, 35-mile radius rule)

Pay Rate: $3,600 Weekly

Unit: Home Health, Hospice

Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Schedule: 36 hours per week; any 3 days of the week (No on-call and no weekends)

Position Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ years of Hospice experience

• Availability: Must be available to travel to Flint on 10/17 or 10/18

• Commitment: Willing to work an open-ended strike contract starting on 10/20/2024 and reside in provided housing

• Transportation: No mileage provided, vehicles will be supplied

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or equivalent Required

• BSN or equivalent Highly preferred

• RN License for the State of Michigan Required

• BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross Required

Job Description:

• Provide skilled nursing care to Home Health Hospice patients

• Assess, monitor, and document observations of patient conditions at each visit

• Perform evaluations, including reviewing medications and vital signs

• Administer physician-prescribed medications

• Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure proper patient care and treatment plans
