Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 12hr Nights
Guarantee Hours: 36
Job Summary:
The ICU RN will provide expert care to critically ill patients, focusing on the assessment, monitoring, and treatment of complex medical conditions.This role requires close collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver individualized care and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.
Description / Comment :
- ICU
- 12-hour nights
- 36 hours a week
- OT after 48
- 60-mile radius rule
- NY license required
- 2+ years experienced required
- BLS/ACLS/ (AHA), NIH required
- Beds on unit: 10
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer critical care interventions, including advanced life support, medication management, and ventilator support.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, detect changes in condition, and take prompt, appropriate action.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and families to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Document all care activities accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
