Ratios: ICU & CVI typically 2:1; sometimes 1:1 and if overflow could be 3:1
CERTIFICATIONS
BLS - required
NIHSS - required
PALS - required
ACLS - required
TNCC - required
DESCRIPTION
The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the Director, Manager and or Clinical Supervisor and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures. In addition, the Registered Nurse works closely with and acts as clinical expert for other professional and ancillary nursing personnel. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. RN Registered Nurse in Missouri. Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills are required, and must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be able to operate various types of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copy machine.
