## DescriptionPosition Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the clinical and health-related services of residents in accordance with their individualized service plans, state regulations and community policies. The RN ensures quality care, supervises delegated medication administration, and supports a safe and person-centered environment.Key Responsibilities:Resident Health Oversight* Complete health assessments and participate in developing and reviewing Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).* Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes in health status to physicians, families, and care teams.* Oversee implementation of health-related services, including wound care, diabetic care, and fall prevention.* Participate in care conferences and multidisciplinary reviews.Medication Management & Delegation* Delegate and supervise caregiver staff in accordance with state guidelines medication administration.* Conduct medication audits and ensure MAR accuracy and medication compliance.* Provide training and ongoing competency evaluations for caregivers administering medications.Compliance & Documentation* Ensure compliance with state guidelines, HIPAA, and infection control standards.* Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date nursing documentation.* Support state survey readiness and participate in mock audits, quality reviews, and corrective action planning.Training & Team Support* Provide training and support to caregivers on health-related topics, including chronic condition management, documentation, infection control, and emergency procedures.* Collaborate with the Administrator and Life Enrichment Coordinator to support resident wellness programs.## QualificationsQualifications:* Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Wisconsin.* Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred; experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics highly desirable.* Knowledge of state regulations or willingness to become familiar upon hire.* Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and communication skills.* CPR/First Aid certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.Working Conditions:* May include on-call responsibilities* Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with resident transfers in emergencies.* Requires walking, standing, and occasional travel between resident rooms and facility departments.Core Competencies:* Clinical Knowledge and Decision Making* Communication and Documentation* Regulatory Compliance* Leadership and Accountability* Compassionate, Resident-Centered Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
