Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care in the Emergency Department, focusing on combined adult and pediatric patients. This includes patient assessment, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the healthcare team. The role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and manage patients with various conditions, including CVA and head injuries.
- Manage and interpret cardiac rhythms, including treatment of dysrhythmias.
- Administer blood products and perform phlebotomy.
- Initiate and maintain IV lines, including administration of IV vasopressors.
- Administer procedural sedation.
- Provide care for ventilated patients and manage BiPAP/CPAP.
- Implement and maintain isolation precautions and proper PPE usage.
- Triage patients effectively.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care accurately and completely in EPIC.
- Communicate effectively using SBAR.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of work.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Proficiency in general Emergency Department care for combined adult/pediatric patients.
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Competency in blood product administration, phlebotomy, and IV insertion/maintenance.
- Experience with IV vasopressors and procedural sedation administration.

- No color specifications for scrubs.
- RTO: 7 days MAX
