Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, ensure patient safety, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and Telemetry units, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing IV lines.
• Assessment and Monitoring: Continuously assess patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and promptly report critical findings to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient information, care provided, and changes in patient status in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Compliance: Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Safety: Implement and follow safety protocols, including infection control practices, to protect patients and staff.
• Technology Use: Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, making informed decisions based on the data.
