Job Summary:
This role is for an ICU Registered Nurse to work in a PCU unit. The nurse will provide skilled nursing care, patient assessments, medication administration, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the PCU unit.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in the electronic health record (Epic).
- Float within skillset as needed.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications.
- LA Fire Card.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.

Special Considerations:
- Must be able to work every other weekend.
- Must be able to float within skillset.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- No on-call requirement.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
