Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions; implement interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about cancer treatments, symptom management, and overall wellness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing or a related specialty.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
