Position Overview
Avento Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care hospital setting in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about clinical excellence, collaboration, and delivering compassionate care throughout the full nursing process.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, evaluating outcomes, and guiding both patient education and the work of ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with clinical policies, standards, and best practices
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and recovery plans
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Supervise and support ancillary personnel as appropriate
• Accurately document patient care and clinical observations in the medical record
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards
Required Qualifications
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Interview Process
• Initial phone interview with the Hiring Manager
• In-person interview with the Hiring Manager and selected organizational leaders
