\nPrimary Patient Population:\n

  • Inpatient Medicine

  • Spinal surgery recovery
  • \n
  • Trauma overflow
  • \n
\n
\n
\nPrimary skills utilized/learned:\n
\n

  • Traction, various drains, wound care
  • \n
  • Time management, critical thinking, delegating
  • \n
\n
\n
\nPersonnel RN will work with:\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT
  • \n
\n
\n
\nNumber of beds on unit:\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • 34 beds (14 private rooms, 20 semi-private rooms)
  • \n
\n
\n
\nAwards or Recognitions the unit has received:\n
\n

  • Pressure Injury Prevention Champions
  • \n
  • Daisy Award Winners
  • \n
\n
\n

  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

\nPreferred Qualifications:\n

  • BSN
