Registered Nurse Job Description Registered Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care. They provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during their shift. Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am with weekend and holiday rotation Pay: Starting at $37.23 per hour, based on experience Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, review physician’s orders, and take appropriate actions. Complete assessments upon admission, collect pertinent data, recognize normal and abnormal findings, and evaluate patient needs. Coordinate admission, discharge, and transfer planning with team members. Assign beds and care responsibilities during shifts to ensure consistency. Document patient care accurately, including assessments and changes in condition, and communicate with physicians and team members. Optimize workflow and monitor care provided by team members to ensure quality. Perform triage assessments and collaborate on care planning, making referrals as needed. Provide patient and family education, utilizing referral agencies to support patient self-management. Respond promptly and courteously to patient requests for assistance.
