Southwest General Health Center is a 352-bed community hospital located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. One of the last standing community hospitals in Northeast Ohio, we partner with University Hospitals and other local community organizations to provide a full range of services to all who need us. REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

Respiratory Care Services provides care for patients throughout the hospital that require respiratory support, blood gases, respiratory treatments, and all types of oxygen administration to intubation and ventilator management. Patient acuity varies greatly, and they do welcome new therapists.

HOURS:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory in all settings within the Health Center. This includes aerosol therapy, airway clearance, and blood gas analysis, Endotracheal intubation, and ventilator management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High school diploma and an Associates Degree in Applied Science with a major in respiratory care.

Required length of experience:
Clinical experience during respiratory care training. New grads welcome to apply.

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Must hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License issued by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
