- Job Title: Regulatory Data Analyst
- Location: Downtown Boston, MA (onsite 4 days a week)
- Duration: 3 to 6 months contract to hire
- Primary Duties: Requirements review, data analysis, creation of technical specifications, development team support, quality assurance, implementation tracking, and production validation support.
- Additional Responsibilities: Oversight and management of assigned submissions and reports, ensuring timely delivery and supporting inquiries from internal and external recipients.
- Possible Future Role: Lead role within the group overseeing projects and team resources.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 5-8 years of software development experience, experience in querying relational databases, data mapping and transformation, knowledge of structured analysis, experience with SDLC methodology, SQL proficiency, strong communication, organizational, analytical, and technical skills.
- Work Habits: Ability to work with minimal direction, ability to lead and motivate others, ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, team player.
- Duties and Responsibilities: Business requirements analysis, work effort estimation, functional and system specifications development, collaboration with the development team, use cases development, design support, testing and change monitoring, data and transformation mapping, test plans and cases development, involvement in various testing stages, management of requirement and testing responsibilities, and audit and market conduct exams support.
- Valued Skills: Knowledge of the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, experience with statutory and compliance-related reporting, MS Office suite proficiency, prior supervisory experience, exposure to DB2 and SQL Server databases, exposure to Cloud technologies, innovative thinking.
