CCB Community Bank is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Banker III to join our Andalusia team. This position offers broad exposure to the Bank’s products and services and provides front-line interaction with customers. Previous banking experience is required, and management experience is preferred.

Position Summary
The Relationship Banker III provides exceptional service to customers by fulfilling requests, identifying financial solutions, and expanding customer relationships through recommending appropriate products and services. This role requires a complete working knowledge of teller operations and account opening procedures and plays a key role in promoting the Bank’s customer service and sales culture.
Essential Activities
- Promote and advance a strong customer service and sales culture by building rapport, ensuring technical accuracy, and making effective product and service recommendations.
- Listen to and address customer needs and concerns by providing appropriate financial solutions.
- Assist customers with electronic banking services, including online banking and Mobiliti setup.
- Profile customers regularly and recommend the most suitable accounts and financial services.
- Cross-sell Bank products and services to deepen customer relationships, with an emphasis on relevant and digital offerings.
- Open, maintain, and close all account types using the BPM platform system.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of IRAs and related services and consistently perform IRA functions.
- Process financial transactions in the teller platform system with a high degree of accuracy and security.
- Promote Bank business by maintaining strong customer relationships and referring customers to appropriate staff for additional services.
- Greet and engage customers to create a welcoming, professional banking experience.
- Follow up with customers in a timely manner to strengthen relationships.
- Complete and track all required training courses.
- Adhere to all Bank policies, procedures, and controls to protect customers, Bank assets, and confidential information.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions, including appearance, communication, attendance, and punctuality.
Additional Activities
- Prepare Reg CC Hold forms, Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), and Customer Information Profiles (CIP) according to Bank policy.
- Produce debit cards while adhering to established controls.
- Maintain a cash drawer or operate a cash recycler as assigned.
- Perform Vault Teller duties as required.
- Maintain ATM/ITM operations, including cash supply, settlement, balancing, and limits.
- Assist customers with safe deposit box access.
- Support back-counter transactions as needed.
- Fill in at other branches when required.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of five years of experience in a retail banking environment.
- Previous banking experience required; management experience preferred.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and train for rapid advancement into a management role.
- Leadership and team-building abilities a plus.
- Strong listening, verbal, written, and comprehension skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accurate typing, and excellent proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.
- High level of initiative, motivation, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt positively to change and evolving technology within the banking industry.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service, sales, and digital technology skills.
- Above-average initiative and independence.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to use a calculator and perform fine motor manipulation.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to hear and speak clearly.
- Availability to travel as needed.
