Reliability Engineer - Norton Shores Area Reliability Engineer | Norton Shores, MI Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for excelling in reliability engineer? The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled Reliability Engineers. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend solutions. Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs and technologies. Analyze equipment performance data (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate on Design for Reliability (DfR) for new equipment, processes, and capital projects. Drive continuous improvement in asset uptime, availability, and operational efficiency. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis. Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis). Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis for reliability data (e.g., Weibull analysis). Experience utilizing CMMS/EAM systems for asset management and data interpretation. Bonus Qualifications CMRP or CRL certification. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python or R for statistical modeling. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with IoT platforms or AI/ML applications for predictive maintenance.
