Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Remodeling Project Manager to oversee residential remodeling projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and a natural leader who takes pride in delivering projects on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination: Efficiently schedule customer projects, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure all resources are available. Introduce yourself to customers as the Project Manager and maintain ongoing communication throughout the project. Plan and organize project timelines to meet deadlines and maintain project flow.
Punctuality & Readiness: Arrive on time, ready to start each day, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Clear Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Communicate daily with field crews to ensure materials and tools are ready for upcoming work. Effectively relay all project details, changes, and updates.
CRM & Software Utilization: Proficiently use the company’s CRM and other software tools, keeping all project information current and accurate.
Payroll Approval: Review and approve payroll time for field employees accurately and promptly, ensuring timely submission to HR.
Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, managing budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure high-quality results.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and handle conflicts or challenges swiftly and professionally.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Promote and enforce a safe work environment.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
Team Leadership: Lead by example, offering guidance and support to team members and fostering a collaborative, positive work environment.
Weekly Meetings: Attend weekly meetings with the Senior Project Manager to review jobs, schedules, and discuss any issues. Prepare reports and updates to support productive discussions.
Continuous Improvement: Seek out opportunities for professional growth and skills development. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in residential construction (remodeling emphasis preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with project management software and CRM systems
