Full-time Description Wilson-McShane Corporation, a third-party administrator for Taft Hartley funds, is seeking a full-time COBOL Programmer in our Bloomington, MN office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Consults with supervisor, team members, and end users to gather program specifications including requirements, functionality, and features. Creates programs according to specifications from supervisor, team members, and end users. Writes and maintains program, process, and systems documentation. Designs and creates user interface screens, reports, and system interfaces. Maintains and modifies existing programs as necessary to implement corrections, modifications, and/or enhancements. Other duties as assigned. The schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with a 1-hour lunch and the position offers a hybrid schedule pending the completion of the initial training process. This position is an exempt position with a compensation range of $72,000 - $100,000 per year and incudes benefits such as the following: Low Deductible Health, Prescription Drug and Dental Benefits Voluntary Vision, Accident, Critical Illness and Pet Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employer Contribution to 401(k)-No Match Required 401(k) and Roth 401(k) Paid Holidays and Paid time off Dependent Care Reimbursement Account Life Insurance and AD&D Employee Assistance Program, including access to confidential counseling (virtual and in-person) To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Works well in both individual and team settings. Demonstrated ability to learn new skills. Shares expertise with other team members. Effectively manages time and workload priorities in a quickly shifting environment. Looks for ways to improve process efficiency and quality. Experience with or exposure to the following is highly preferred: SQL Server, HTML/CSS, current programming languages (i.e. C#, F#, etc.), Unisys Databridge. Ability to travel up to 5% Salary Description $72,000 - $100,000 per year
