DevOps Engineer Location: Fully Remote (LATAM or North America) Start Date: ASAP Language: Fluent English required Type: Full-time (1099/Contractor), Remote About the Opportunity Pragmatike is partnering with a fast-growing technology company to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team building and operating modern cloud-native infrastructure at scale. You'll work on automation, platform reliability, observability, and deployment systems that support mission-critical applications used globally. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and takes ownership of systems from design through production operations. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across production environments. Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads. Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability best practices. Collaborate closely with software engineers to improve developer experience and platform efficiency. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and operational excellence initiatives. Contribute to security, compliance, and disaster recovery processes. Support a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and engineering excellence. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar). Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, and cloud security principles. Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote environment. Nice to Have Experience supporting high-growth SaaS platforms. Multi-cloud experience. Experience with distributed systems and large-scale production environments. Security, compliance, or infrastructure governance experience. Previous startup or scale-up experience. Why Join?
