Euromonitor International is looking for a researcher to collaborate on a Market Research opportunity. The researcher will work on project-based assignments under the guidance of US-based project managers. This is a contract role suitable for self-starting individuals who can begin within two weeks and who appreciate flexibility and the challenge of generating consumer‑market intelligence. The role involves personal visits to stores in Montreal, QC. Research Focus Measure and analyze fruit‑juice sales in a given country for 2020, and explain year‑over‑year changes. Identify leading players in the shampoo category and calculate market share of the top brands. Assess market potential for a product in a target country, evaluate distribution channels, and recommend positioning strategies. Compare performance of two companies, identify the strategy of the higher‑performing company, and describe operational support. Responsibilities Conduct primary store visits and secondary source research. Prepare and analyze data using Excel. Document findings and deliver insights to project managers. Meet project deadlines and adapt to changing scope. Qualifications Located in Montreal or able to work remotely with a personal computer and Internet access. Committed to 30–35 hours per week during the project. Flexible to travel for store visits and to obtain information on site. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication, time‑management, organization and self‑motivation. Proficiency in Excel. Interest in market research and tenacity in gathering information. Adaptability to unexpected changes in scope or starting date. Training & Collaboration Continuous training in market‑research methodologies via online courses and selected live sessions.
