Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Remote Recruiter to join our rapidly growing remote team. This is a remote, full time, direct hire opportunity for an experienced Recruiter with a strong understanding of human resources needs for a temporary staffing agency.

Your #1 goal? Put people to work! Connect with motivated candidates to learn about their skills, match them to job opportunities and develop pathways to help them achieve their career goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Submit a Start of Day/End of Day note, notify team when stepping away from desk and respond to all Team chats in a timely manner.
    • Attend morning huddles, team meeting throughout the day and week.
    • Be prepared to update your team on positions, challenges, scheduled interviews.

Recruiter:

  • Recruit and source candidates through all available resources.
    • Utilize job boards for posting jobs and sourcing candidates including Ceipal, indeed, Zip Recruiter, Cal Jobs, Facebook, Handshake, etc.
    • Use your social networks and local communities to build a strong pipeline of in-demand candidates.
    • When all resources have been exhausted, work with the manager to develop new recruiting methods to bring in more candidates.
    • Source for the future! Pre-Screen candidates for potential opportunities.
  • Thoroughly interview candidates to determine eligibility for open requisitions.
    • Update, input and maintain accurate documentation, tracking and status of candidate records in Ceipal.
    • Use Calendly for scheduling interviews.
    • Administer applicant assessments/tests as necessary.
    • Follow job offer checklist script when making job offers to candidates.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines as well as increase the number of active candidates in database.
    • Keep qualified candidates in your pipeline and maintain constant communication on a weekly basis.
  • Prioritize open requisitions and fill with sense of urgency.
    • Ensure your open requisitions are posted on all job boards.
    • Ensure all your open requisitions have coverage to meet the required metrics.
  • Conduct QC's
    • To past candidates still in pipelines to keep warm for future requests
    • To placed candidate to support them for the duration of their assignments.
  • Promote the Tekberry referral program to current, prospective employees and candidates you screen.
  • Hit your goals! Take ownership of your workload and take the initiative to achieve metrics without letting distractions get in the way of your and the company's success.
    • Make a minimum of 2 placements per week, goal is 4 placements per week.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/equivalent
  • 3+ years recruiting/staffing agency environment (manufacturing, contingent, light industrial, engineering)
  • Experience working with MSP's and/or direct clients.
  • Capable computer user, able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Prior experience working remotely preferred.
