JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role you will provide services to the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers.
The BGA Technician will utilize soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment.
Traditional Through Hole and Surface Mount soldering for board level components replacement is required.
Experience utilizing stencils in solder paste application for BGA component layout is a plus.
Extreme precision soldering on very small parts daily, BGA technicians may also work with hand tools to make precision repairs.

2nd Shift Hours -2:30pm-11pm Mon-Fri

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Utilization of a soldering iron to remove and replace board level components
• Operation of computer controlled BGA workstation including stencils and solder paste application for BGA component replacement.

• Extreme precision soldering on very small parts needed, may also work with hand tools to make precision repairs.

• Work with Remote Radio Head (RRH) engineering team, interacting closely with engineers and technicians.

• Maintains satisfactory Quality and productivity performance levels.

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Expert hand soldering skills
• Experience de-soldering surface mount components
• Ability to clean and prepare pcb pads for rework.

• Good eyesight and steady hands.

• Experience working with magnifying lights or microscope.

• Attention to quality and cleanliness of workstation

  • Green Card
  • US Citizen

​• Component level soldering on printed circuit boards
• Previous BGA workstation experience is preferred
• Pass a soldering workmanship test
