Rental Leasing Collection Manager Apply
We are seeking a motivated, hungry person with deep experience in property management to manage leasing and collections for our affordable apartment buildings. We have 300 units today and are adding 100 - 200 units per year. This is a fast paced, dynamic role.
Requirements
- Responsibilities
- Maintain a 95% occupancy rate
- Lease 5-10 units per month including posting units, marketing them, processing applications, issuing leases and coordinating move ins
- Process renewals
- Work with subsidies like the CHA
- Maintain a 90% collection rate
- Send standard collection emails and make standard collection phone calls
- Generate collection and occupancy notices for field team to deliver
- Resolve multi month delinquencies through payment plans or move out assistance
- Maintain tenant satisfaction
- Speak to tenants regarding escalated issues from the field
- Escalate unresolved maintenance issues
- Chargeback tenants based on policy
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in email and phone
- Good experience in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data and insights
