Location: Bethesda, MD (Onsite National Institute of Mental Health)
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Research Analyst to support scientific project coordination, analysis, and reporting at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The role involves analyzing research projects, managing data, and preparing reports to advance critical scientific initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and classify scientific research projects (grants, contracts, and studies).
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and written materials detailing data findings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize technical and scientific research findings.
  • Support quality assurance processes, data validation, and secure data management.
  • Assist with NIH-wide data collection efforts and provide training/support to staff.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
    • Experience with data management, reporting, and scientific coding practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with NIH grants, funding mechanisms, or administrative databases is a plus.
