We are looking for a suitable candidate for the role of Research Data Analyst / Research Analyst. The individual will primarily support Dean Research in research data analysis, reporting and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The candidate should have a sound understanding of research databases and bibliometric analysis.Key expectations from the role include:Analysing and interpreting research-related data and metrics from SciVal, Scopus and Web of Science.Generating periodic analytical reports and presentations for management review and decision-making.Creating and maintaining department and faculty-wise databases of publications and research performance.Compilation of research data for AQAR, annual reports, and research-related regulatory filings for various agencies.Keeping track of active calls for proposals from various funding agencies and disseminating relevant information to faculty and researchers in a timely manner.Supporting faculty members with required data and documentation during grant proposal preparation and submission.Maintaining records of ongoing projects, grant documents, contracts/agreements and related files.Providing guidance and support to faculty and students in identifying appropriate journals and conducting plagiarism checks.Issuing lab notebooks to students and ensuring proper record maintenance as per institutional guidelines.
