Continuation of the position is subject to availability of funds. The start date for the position is January 2026. Benefits: UMES offers exciting opportunities for professional growth. Required Qualifications: •Ph.D. in Oceanography or Marine Sciences. ABD will be considered with an expected completion before appointment date. •Experience in oceanography observational skill. •Experience in ecological/water quality numerical modeling experiences. Physical Demands: •May require extended periods of standing, bending, stooping, sitting at desk. •May require lifting up to 25 lbs. •Requires communication with a variety of constituents externally and internally. •Requires operation of a variety of office equipment.
