About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate/Senior Research Associate with cell biology, assay development and screening experience to join our growing Biology team. The successful candidate is curious, self‑driven and looking to expand their existing proficiencies in cell biology, assay development and screening to contribute to drug discovery programs. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine mammalian cell culture and maintain mammalian cell lines. Execute routine cell‑based assays to support early‑stage drug discovery programs. Under the guidance of the manager, assist with the development and optimization of new cell‑based assays for screening. Generate, analyze, document, and upload experimental data to company databases in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure compliance with established laboratory practices, SOPs, and company policies, including both wet lab and electronic data management requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline. Minimum of 1 year of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience Experience working with 384‑well plate‑based assay formats. Experience performing routine mammalian cell culture techniques. Experience with plate‑based in vitro assays, including one or more of the following technologies: HTRF, luminescence, BRET, or Alpha assays. Experience executing cell‑based assays, including assay optimization and routine screening campaigns. Basic understanding of early‑stage drug discovery processes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with laboratory automation and/or semi‑automated assay workflows Experience with cell‑based assay development and optimization for high‑throughput screening Experience in small molecule drug discovery Benefits: Superluminal offers a comprehensive benefits package that fully covers employees’ annual deductibles and monthly premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
