KINDRED AT HOME COMMUNITY CARE IS INTERESTED IN YOU Kindred at Home Community Care provides compassionate & considerate personal care with uncompromising service and understanding to our service recipients. This allows for our service recipients to remain living independently in the comfort of their own home. We are looking for Professional In-Home Special Care Attendants who are serious about providing our clients with the level of Care that is beyond all others and in return making Kindred at Home Community Care their long term employer. Kindred at Home Special Care Attendants represent the highest standards of In-Home personal care, serving across multiple counties. In Home Special Care Attendants provide a wide range of services to our clients that may consist of: Serving new clients Client orientation Personal care (bathing, toileting, transferring) Advanced Personal Care Medication reminders Cleaning of home Laundry Shopping and errands Meal preparation Respite service Required Skills Must have a current Missouri C.N.A. license. At least 18 years of age. Minimum of 1 year facility experience (Nursing Home, Long term care, Rehabilitation), 1 year of In-Home personal care experience, or a combination of both to equal a minimum of 1 year experience. Ability to adapt to daily changes in scheduling and travel needs. Physical ability to perform personal care tasks. Ability to read, write, understand, carry out directions, keep simple medical records and function with minimal supervision. Must have reliable transportation (you drive yourself). Must not have a criminal conviction which bars employment. Must have no adverse record or be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry.
