Research Engineer - Computer Vision - FAIR

Develop highly scalable algorithms based on machine learning and neural network methodologies. Collaborate with FAIR scientists on novel research in self-supervised learning and computer vision. Contribute to experimental design, implementation, evaluation, analysis and reporting research results. Apply knowledge of relevant research domains along with expert coding skills to platform and framework development projects. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Masters Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of industry experience in computer vision and/or deep learning Research experience in one or more of these areas: computer vision, video understanding, and/or self-supervised learning Experience developing machine learning algorithms or machine learning infrastructure in Python and PyTorch Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. Preferred Qualifications PHD Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of industry, academic, or government lab experience in computer vision and/or deep learning. Publication record in top-tier venues such as ICCV, CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc. Software engineer experience demonstrated via prior work experience.
