Our client, a leading organization in the field of virtual and augmented reality research, is seeking a Research Scientist IV to join their innovative team. As a Research Scientist IV, you will be part of the Reality Labs Research Audio team supporting cutting‑edge advancements in auditory perception and machine learning models. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem‑solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Research Scientist IV Location: Redmond, WA Pay Range: What's the Job? Drive research on improved machine learning models for speech quality and auditory perception Conduct computational experiments and analyze findings to inform development Implement ML models that emulate aspects of human auditory perception Develop next‑generation audio quality models to enhance user experience Independently build ML training pipelines, models, and evaluation frameworks What's Needed? Master's degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Computational Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines Experience designing, training, and evaluating neural networks using Pytorch Proficiency in Python or other scientific programming languages Experience working in high-performance computing environments Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail What's in it for me?
