Project Six offers a safe, structured residential program for adolescents ages 12–20 who need intensive support for emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Our relationship-based approach helps teens build coping skills, strengthen communication, and prepare for successful reintegration into home, school and community life. This is a highly interactive, hands-on role that requires flexibility, patience, strong teamwork and the ability to adapt to changing resident needs throughout each shift. Position Details: Location: Van Nuys Full-Time Key Responsibilities Create and manage menus, prepare nutritious meals, develop grocery lists, and maintain organized pantry and food storage. Van Nuys Supervise, protect, and support youth in individual and group settings while promoting a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Develop individualized meal plans and lead healthy living and exercise programs to encourage wellness and healthy habits. Document client progress, identify additional service needs, and communicate observations and recommendations to clinical and management staff. Provide academic, emotional, and daily living support, transport clients to appointments and activities, and assist with household tasks, including meal preparation and laundry. Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like facility while ensuring residents' health, safety, and well-being at all times. Apply crisis intervention and behavior management techniques, participate in required training, maintain CPR/First Aid certification, and perform additional duties as needed to support client care. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
