We are seeking an experienced Residential New Home Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple residential builds through a team of site managers. This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will report directly to the VP of Construction and play a key role in monitoring KPIs that reflect performance across timelines, budgets, and jobsite execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Supervise and support 3–4 site managers, each overseeing 3–4 new construction homes.
- · Track and report KPIs to ensure projects meet contractual and financial targets.
- · Lead weekly status reviews and coordination meetings.
- · Manage change orders, risk mitigation, and field problem-solving.
- · Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and inspections.
- · Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- · Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in CoConstruct.
- · Quickly master and utilize CoConstruct, as it is central to daily operations.
- · Set up and finalize projects in CoConstruct post-estimation, verifying and organizing all project information.
- · Source subcontractors, manage bid requests and comparisons in CoConstruct, and prepare purchase orders for site supervisors.
- · Obtain bids for estimations as requested.
- · Monitor project financials to maintain budgets and maximize profitability.
- · Support site supervisors in schedule management and timeline improvement.
- · Close out projects in CoConstruct upon completion.
- · Collaborate and assist others to drive project completion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction management experience
- Proven track record supervising multiple site managers or superintendents
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team development skills
- Proficiency with construction scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Experience using Construction Management Software is required, CoConstruct is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong communication and executive reporting abilities
- Knowledge of residential building codes and permitting processes
- OSHA safety certification preferred
