Our direct client is looking for a Resource Specialist for their Integrated Operations Planning & Support Services (IOPSS) Team. The work will be in Los Angeles, CA.
The assignment is a 6-month contract with the option to convert to a direct hire.
The schedule is a hybrid - Schedule: 44/36 Monday through Friday with alternating Fridays off.
Please note this position requires the successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and employment and education verification prior to starting work.
The Resource Specialist will need to have an office manager skillset. They'll be interacting with internal and external clients up to the executive level. They may need to answer phones, create powerpoint presentations and organizational flow charts, process invoices (heavy) and must have knoledge of NERC, FERC, EIA, CPUC, CEC, and CARB reporting requirements. General Electric Utility knowledge would be helpful but not necessary.
*Someone who comes from Electrical/or Energy industry is a plus.
Monitor scope and, forecast, process billings and heavy invoices.
Monitors and verify performance, status of water supplies, status of power supplies and coordinate acquisition of related resources.
Administers water management or power programs and agreements; develops guidelines, procedures, certification, track methodologies and recommends water or power program efficiencies and improvements.

The ideal candidate:
- A very high-level admin with expert skills.
- It would be helpful if they're from the electrical/or energy industry.
- This role will be supporting the department Assistant Group Manager.
- Will need to be an expert in MSOffice: PowerPoint and Excel.
- The candidate will create, maintain, and operate flow charts models.
Experience:
- A bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience; or master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge: MSOffice (Power Point and Excel).
- Knowledge of: Budgeting and Finance, contract administration, preparing reports and SharePoint.
- MUST HAVE: Heavy invoicing processing.
- Personable, Team Player, Flexible, Multitask and handles pressure well.
- Detail orient, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
- Valid CA driver license.
