Job Posting Respiratory Care Practitioner Job Summary: This position is held by a RCP who possesses the knowledge and skill to administer all forms of respiratory assistance. This role may be filled with a Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Certified Respiratory Therapist and may be Part Time or PRN. The RCP is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of assigned patients. The role requires active participation amongst various departments within the hospital. Strong communication skills and patient advocacy are critical and expected. The RCP must comply with all local, state, and federal accrediting bodies. Qualifications: The RCP must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, be licensed within the state of Illinois, and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
