Overview Department: Respiratory Care Practitioner : Casual Respiratory Therapist position, 12 hour Daylight and Nights shifts. Two 12 hr shifts required per schedule. Responsibilities Administers respiratory therapy treatments and therapeutic procedures as prescribed by the physician. Initiates and monitors ventilators and BIPAP/CPAP devices. Teaches respiratory equipment to patients and patients' families for use at home. Tests and maintains respiratory related equipment. Qualifications Required: Certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Pennsylvania. BCLS required; ACLS preferred. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in the Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
