FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm URGENTLY HIRING - $7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS with 24-month commitment. External applicants only. Position Summary The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for delivering skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. This role requires advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations, perform independent respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and evaluate care based on patient age and needs. The position operates independently under limited supervision, with internal contacts including patient care staff and management, and external contacts including patients, families, physicians, outside healthcare providers, and other organizations. Requirements Graduate of AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy Training program Certified (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington Registry eligibility notice to sit for RRT exam from NBRC required Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS Health Care Provider level CPR certification Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy and critical care as CRT preferred Our Values As a MultiCare employee, you'll reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness, and Joy.
