Respiratory Neuro Diagnostics Specialist Apply
Job Summary:
The Respiratory Neuro Diagnostics Specialist will be responsible for providing appropriate respiratory care. The role involves performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines. The specialist will gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Responsibilities:
- Gathering and reporting data related to patient respiratory status.
- Carrying out physician orders related to respiratory care.
- Performing therapeutic respiratory procedures on patients.
- Documenting patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Performing selected patient registration activities.
- Coordinating equipment/supply needs.
- Notifying appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
- Performing any other related duties (e.g., clerical, technical duties) as assigned.
- Floating to other facility 30 minutes away if need be.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- BLS certification.
- 1 year of experience is acceptable.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
- Having 2 years of experience in direct patient care

Special Considerations:
- Weekends are required, every other weekend.
- Block schedules are required.
