Schedule 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 x 12 hour shifts per week. Weekends and holidays may be required as needed. Job Description The Registered Respiratory Therapist, under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services and other supervisory roles, is responsible for providing and administering all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as outlined in the department policies and procedures. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies. Assist in intubation and manage ventilator setup. Gather necessary information for proper patient evaluation, including disease education and consultations. Develop rapport with patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members. Provide and document education to patients and caregivers based on identified needs. Fulfill other duties and projects as assigned. Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy. BLS - AHA, ACLS, PALS certifications.
