Job Details Responsibilities Understanding of pulmonary function laboratory operations. Demonstrates proficiency in patient assessment, clinical aerosol medication delivery and emergency management procedures, related to the performance of diagnostic pulmonary function testing. Calibration, operation and performance of diagnostic pulmonary function testing equipment. Basic computer skills, Epic EMR for documentation and scanning reports. Knowledge of accepted standards, policies, procedures, staff responsibilities and instrumentation related to the provision of diagnostic pulmonary function testing. Performs and documents 6-minute walk tests. Patient/ Family Education as related to PFT testing, medication delivery systems, devices and Disease state management. Office practices in accordance with CDC guidelines for infection control and maintenance. Requirements Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from a Respiratory Therapy education program accredited by CoARC is required. New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician or Respiratory Therapist license required. Current BLS through the American Heart Association. Basic computer skills. 3+ years of experience preferred. Salary Range USD $45.43 - $61.44 /Hr. CRT salary range is $45.43- $52.22/ hour RRT salary range is $53.45- $61.44/ hour This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location.
