Respiratory Therapist (RT) – weekend Now Hiring | Full-Time We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long-term care patients. Position Summary The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post-acute care setting. Responsibilities Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.) Monitor and assess patient respiratory status Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems Document treatments and patient responses accurately Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed Qualifications Current RT license in good standing (state-specific) RRT or CRT accepted BLS required (ACLS preferred, if applicable) SNF, subacute, or long-term care experience preferred Strong communication and documentation skills What We Offer Competitive pay Supportive interdisciplinary team Opportunity for long-term stability and growth Gilroy Healthcare Center is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility located in Gilroy, California.
