In this role, the individual is accountable to deliver established goals, utilizes good judgment to assess and escalate situations when warranted and utilizes knowledge and skills in the area of expertise while maintaining expected quality standards. The individual must act as a healthcare leader by building constructive relationships and by supporting department leadership in developing, setting and executing department goals and the strategic plan in accordance with Marshfield Clinic Health System's mission statement.Job Qualifications:Education:Minimum Required: Associate Degree, Diploma, or Certification in a Respiratory Therapy Program.Experience:Minimum Required: Experience working with mechanical ventilation of patients from neonatal to geriatric.Certifications/Licenses:Minimum Required: Respiratory Care Practitioner license awarded by an applicable state AND Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care, and maintain the active credential per NBRC Guidelines. If Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is not current at time of hire, it must be obtained within two years of hire or by 7/1/2022 if hired prior to 6/30/2019. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
