Job Summary:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift role. This position plays a critical role in delivering advanced respiratory care to patients across various hospital units, including emergency services. The ideal candidate is a skilled and adaptable team player with experience in high-acuity settings and a strong foundation in ventilator management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and interventions across multiple care units.
- Provide emergency respiratory support during Rapid Response and Code Blue situations.
- Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment, including:
- Bipap V60
- Puritan Bennett 980 Ventilators
- LTV1200 Transport Ventilators
- Airvo2 (Heated High Flow)
- Optiflow Systems
- Resmed S10 CPAP Machines
- Conduct Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) preferred but not required.
- Accurately document all interventions and assessments using EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to affiliated facilities (Tomahawk, Howard Young, Eagle River) as operationally needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist License CRT not accepted
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required
- BLS & ACLS Certifications Required
- NRP Certification Preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent respiratory care experience Required
- Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) experience Highly Preferred
