Respiratory Therapist Rrt Apply
An allied healthcare team member who works under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager in the treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Ability to triage safely, rapidly, and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with the ED physicians about changes in the patient's status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Respiratory Care services following specific physician's orders, department policies, and procedures that encompass but are not limited to patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and patient, caregiver, and community education. Job Requirements: Current Utah State Respiratory Therapist Licensure. Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy. BCLS and ACLS certification Valid (active) NBRC Credential in good standing. AARC/USRC Membership preferred.
Shift: Nights 1800 - 0600. 6 days on and 8 days off.
